Sunday Scare

The event that happened this morning seemed like a dream and is all a blur to me. Aub woke up to get her hair done while I slept in with Diesel. I awoke and took him out for his morning relief. Once we were home, I noticed a bunch of bumps on his lower back. As the minutes passed the bumps seemed to be getting bigger and multiplying. I gave him a bath, which he loves, and waited to see if the bumps went away. I thought maybe he rubbed up against something and had an allergic reaction. Wrong. Ok so now the bumps were now bigger than silver dollar coins. I'm freaking out.........yep freaking out. So Aub and I decide to call this new vet we took Diesel to when he did his first stud service. The doctor specializes in English Bulldogs and for some reason we really took to him. Our regular vet was currently in a session of church (he's the bishop in Aub's parents ward). So I'm driving 90 miles an hour to he vet while Aub keeps him calm in the backseat of the car. When we got there, we filled out the necessary paper work and waited in the little room. The vet came in he immediately asked how we were doing. Aubrey answered with a positive, "Fine", then he looked at me and said, "I know you're done doing alright..." It was obvious I was a wreck. The vet took Diesel back and gave him 2 sets of shots one of them being benadryl. As we were thinking back the last 24 hours we remembered him swallowing a foreign object which we couldn't get from his jaws. The vet started naming off the usual suspects, one of them being spiders and we knew that is what he swallowed.

Well I'm happy to report that Diesel and the rest of us are doing fine.

Snow Tires

So last year I made it through winter with no snow tires and did alright (this living on the hill). Well after the snow this morning I have determined I need snow tires. I was driving to work this morning and I-215 I swear to you they do not plow it. So yes I was sliding around everywhere then I pull into work and start sliding all over the parking lot, mind you there is not a ton of snow on the ground. So the next thing on my wish list is snow tires.

Twilight Movie

Well I saw the movie on Saturday and I'm not disappointed but I also didn't love it. It was good and all but to me it didn't seem like the two main characters had that much chemistry on screen, but thats my opinion. I liked the movie I would see it again maybe I would like it better the second time but they left out things that happened in the book or they did what was in the book wrong in the movie like the part where Edward shows how he looks in the sun. He and Bella meet and hike to a certain place and he shows her right. Well in the movie they are at school and they walk into the trees and she tells him she thinks he is a vampire and he is like I have to show you how I look in the sun, and he throws her on his back and runs to a sunny spot on the mountain. I know that things are different in every movie that is based off a book stuff is never the same. There were also a lot of parts that were super corny but I dont know maybe you will have to see it and judge for yourself. I would see it again though.

So many of you know that I love the twilight series and well the movie is no exception. I'm so freaking excited for the movie to come out. Next Saturday me my mom, my sister, my two nieces and my cousins are going to see the movie and going to gardeners village for midnight madness!!!! I have never been there before and I have heard its kind of expensive but still fun to go with everyone. I know Thanksgiving hasn't even come yet but I'm so excited for Christmas... Well excited to decorate my house and put up my Christmas tree yay!!!! Oh yes pictures will follow

When it's someone you know

When ever you hear about something bad happening to someone or a person passing away most people think how sad, or thats to bad.I must say personally thats how I am but when you find out that something horrible happened to someone you know it changes the way you feel completely.
My example. The police officer that died last Friday in the High speed chase in bountiful. I knew he had a wife and a set of new twins and I thought to myself how sad and how i felt bad for his wife and new babies.
Little did I know that I knew this man's wife I grew up with her pretty much my whole life. when I found that out it completely changed how I felt. I cant describe it but I felt so bad. It's just weird when you know someone that it happens to how it can change the way you feel.

Ya know what we should do right now? BUY NEW SUITS!!

So the band decided to dress up as the cast of Anchorman. I was champ (CHAMP HERE!), Derek was Brian Fantana, Joel was Brick, Justin was Ron and Mike was Ben Stillers character, the Mexican news anchor. Good Times.

The official howl-O-ween costume is a "Reject M&M." We conjured up a story that he was filled with too much chocolate on the assembly line in the factory and was rejected by the inspectors. Poor Diesel. Well....

Carving of the Pumpkin

I started to carve my pumpkin with one of those designs that can buy in a book but I freaking SUCK at those things. Every year I try, and every year I end up ripping it off and turning the pumpkin around only to carve the original sweet Jack O' Lantern. Aubrey's tuned out really well!

Legacy Highway

So most of you have heard of Legacy Highway but I know most of you live south and may not have had the chance to take it yet.
I find it pretty convenient but there are a few flaws.

1. There are dead coonies (racoon's) all over the side of the road I know they are mean and all that jazz but I have a place for all animals the poor little bandits its sad.
2. There are bugs everywhere it seriously sounds like its raining when the bugs hit the windshield.
3. The speed limit is 55. Most of you may not know I have a bit of a speeding problem I hate going slow so it makes it hard because I go like 80 on I-215 to having to go 55 cause there be coppers everywhere.

2 Days

Oh my gosh We're getting married in 2 days words cannot describe how nervous I am and I really dont know why. However I know Jon is too. We had a little set back for the wedding day and I wont lie I was very upset. We were supposed to get married outside and its so pretty where we are getting married i was so excited and then ya stupid mother nature had to ruin it and make it to cold, now we have to get married inside ya not to happy about that. but enough of that. My biggest problem is.... I've been slowly moving all my stuff into our house and I have so much crap I dont know what to do with it all. Honestly I have so many pairs of shoes I have to find a home for and the sad thing is I threw alot of them away before moving them in.
But were going to go to Vegas on our honeymoon and whooo do we ever need a vacation it will be so nice to get away from everything. I keep secretly hoping that we will win the jackpot ha but we all know the chances of that ha ha

Utah State Fair

We went to the fair last night. It was pretty cool. We bought corn dogs that were pretty good. Fresh. Paid 6 extra dollars to see a 6 legged cow, a 2 nose cow and a one legged woman who was full of electricity. Weird.

This Day in History

This picture was posted on KSL and I had to take it. I remember where I was when this happened. My mom came into my room in the morning and told me there had been an accident. That a plane had flown into one of the WTC buildings. Then at school, I was in the one class that had a huge projector and screen. We were able to see what was going on. A few min later, we all physically watched the second plane hit the other building. We Will Never Forget
