Utah State Fair

We went to the fair last night. It was pretty cool. We bought corn dogs that were pretty good. Fresh. Paid 6 extra dollars to see a 6 legged cow, a 2 nose cow and a one legged woman who was full of electricity. Weird.

This Day in History

This picture was posted on KSL and I had to take it. I remember where I was when this happened. My mom came into my room in the morning and told me there had been an accident. That a plane had flown into one of the WTC buildings. Then at school, I was in the one class that had a huge projector and screen. We were able to see what was going on. A few min later, we all physically watched the second plane hit the other building. We Will Never Forget

Swimming Pool + Diesel = Sinking Dog

This isn't a picture of Diesel but we wanted to add some photos to this blog. We took Diesel over to our pool area and let him roam around. He loved chasing all the people in the pool from around the edge, that he wanted to dive in himself. I was sitting on the edge a few feet away and saw him tumble in. At first he was fine but then I noticed his little legs couldn't paddle fast enough to keep his enormous body afloat. I hurried and jumped in with my shirt on while Matt and a few others swam over to help lift the giant beast out of the water. I think he was traumatized. We later tried to get him to swim in the kiddie pool but he wouldn't have anything to do with it. Time to get him a life jacket.

Magic Bullet......... What?

Ok so Aubrey and I were talking about the Magic Bullet when her words became tongue tied and spurted out "Magic Mullet!"

(pause for hysterical laughter)

Anyways I immediately searched for the Magic Bullet and the sickest mullet known to Google and joined them in holy goodness.

The Backyard

This is the backyard now. Its way dusty obviously and full of lots of rocks.
Were starting to rake up all the rocks but oh my gosh it sucks, if we had enough money I would just hire someone to do it.
Jon is leaving for California over Labor Day weekend for band stuff and I'm really really hoping that we can get it all done before that. So pretty much we have this weekend and next weekend. I guess we'll see keep your fingers crossed. We will post pictures of the finished yard soon!!!!!! And you should all know I have to include a picture of Diesel!
